Portable Campfire
Have you ever wanted a campfire and there was no wood available, or wanted a campfire moved to a different spot, or just wanted a fire long enough to take the chill out of the air? Keep a portable campfire in Your car for that moment of need. They're almost smokeless, easy to light, burn 6-8 hours, don't take up much space, and they are inexpensive.
Water Supply
Ever been off on a trip and had to change a flat tire or had lunch in the car or spilled a soft drink in the car or had to change the babies diapers or had one of the kids lose his lunch....and wish you had a place to wash your hands? Ever been in the middle of nowhere and wanted a drink? Ever had the car overheat and there was no water around to top off the radiator? Ever been at a trail head and wanted to fill your water bottles before you started hiking? Ever come back to your car after a hike and wanted to get the trail dust off of your face? Keep a 2 1/2 gal. bottle of drinking water in your car whenever you travel, even on short trips. All grocery stores carry them and they only cost a couple bucks.
Fire Starter
Ever had your matches get soaked - had your butane lighter fail - tried to ignite something n the wind??? When camping or backpacking carry one of the new breed of windproof/waterproof lighters (yes, they really are). You can light them in the rain, tight side up, upside down, sideways, and even in high winds. Bet there's a price to pay! Costs range form about $7.00 to about $50.00, with the most durable and dependable ones starting at about $25.00-30.00
EVER LOST YOUR CAR KEYS OR LOCKED THEM IN THE CAR?
Carry a credit card key in your waller and/or give one to a person that you're traveling with. If you are a AAA member, they will make you a credit card key free and you'll never be locked out again. If you are not a AAA member, you will have to settle for a real key.
